Jude Samman is a Jordanian-Syrian artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honors) from Queen’s University, Canada. Her practice, primarily expressed through oil paintings, explores what it means to be connected to the land and the meaning of home.

Her work often manifests as dreamscapes that blur the lines between memory and imagination, drawing from personal archives, regional histories, and a search for the Divine. Through symbolism, she approaches familiar objects with detachment and renewed understanding, telling stories that speak to the human need for belonging.

Figures often appear as vessels of memory, blurring the boundaries between bodies and the earth.
